Ring and disc cutter
The ideal ring cutting device for shop and assembly work.
The device will cut properly, neatly, true to size and with a straight edge, all materials suitable for cutting, such as rubber, leather, felt, cardboard, plastics, graphite bonded with smooth metal foil and similar stock.
The cutting table consists of 20 mm thick lumber-core plywood mounted on two dovetail battens.
How to use the cutter
For first use, the cutter locating unit will be guided from below through the hole arranged at the centre of the cutting table, and then fastened underneath the table board.
A hole of 8 mm diameter will be provided in the material to be cut. After setting the knife to the desired diameter by means of the steel rule, the cutting arm has to be fastened to the stud bolt projecting through the material. Depending on the material to be cut, the knife bar is passed around the spindle several times with adapted hand pressure, until the material is completely severed.

Accessories and spare parts
Cutting blade of tool steel (standard knife) [Ref.-No. 451]
for rubber and similar soft materials
Carbide cutting knife [Ref.-No. 452]
e.g. for fibrous materials, graphite bonded with stainless steel, and all materials where long tool life is important.
Cutting wheel with holder [Ref.-No. 453]
for all materials for which the rolling of the cutting wheel brings advantages, such as f. i. graphite, soft rubber types and similar materials, etc. (smallest cutting diameter is limited).
Cutting wheel without holder [Ref.-No. 1354]
Chipping blade [Ref.-No. 455]
for stock removal e.g. on hard plastics, and other materials allowing a stock remo-ving operation
Hold-downplates [Ref.- No. 124-04]
for holding down the material to be cut. The softer and thinner the material, the more accurately the hold-down plate will have to be adapted to the cutting diameter.
(Comprising 4 pieces of Dia. 100-250mm)
Hold-downplates [Ref.- No. 124-10]
for holding down the material to be cut. The softer and thinner the material, the more accurately the hold-down plate will have to be adapted to the cutting diameter.
(Comprising 10 pieces of Dia. 100-250mm)
